Movie Quote of the Day:
“Now you listen to me, I’m an advertising man, not a red herring. I’ve got a job, a secretary, a mother, two ex-wives and several bartenders that depend upon me, and I don’t intend to disappoint them all by getting myself “slightly” killed.”
– Roger Thornhill, North by Northwest.
Hey look! I’m famous:

American Idol
Oh MY! SHOCKER! I really expected Bo to win for sure. However, it was kinda nice to see the “non-favorite” get up there, sing her little heart out and WIN. I really like Carrie. She’s so gorgeous, has a beautiful voice, and I think she’ll do quite well. I expect she’ll go country, which is very suited for her. She’s got the look and the voice for it. I’ll buy her CD.
But I can’t help but feel bad for Bo. Everyone just built him up as the one who was going to win. I noticed has unbiased the judges were on Tuesday night. I admit, I had a hard time trying to decide to who vote for. Bo is still gorgeous and I’ll buy his CD too.
Thus making me a total geek! haha
Lost
OH MY GOSH. How am I going to survive until the premiere? It’s going to kill me! I never expected anything like that to happen on the raft with Walt, Michael, Jin, and Sawyer. Holy cow! And, let me pause for a moment and say that Sawyer’s “mean” look is totally sexy. And the hatch… what’s down there? What is IT? It’s gotta be something evil, I think. Something just so frightening they can’t even imagine. I hope the writers don’t cop out with that. There were a couple of times in the show that I actually jumped. And the thing that got Locke!
It was just a great episode and I’m really looking forward to next year.
Writing
Nothing to report on the serials, however I did work on the novel. Organized some of my files on my thumb drive into folders so I could see exactly what I had. It was nice to see that I had about seven different novels started. I used to think that I’d never have another idea ever. Now I have a glimmer of hope.
Today I’m going to work on the serials and try to get two more issues (one of each) done. I opened up issue 108 and made myself laugh. I had typed, “I have no idea what to write here,” and completely forgotten I did that.
Meeting a friend for lunch. I’m giving her a bunch of my baby stuff that I don’t need anymore (she’s due in September). I’m so glad someone can use it.

That’s really cool! The BlogCarnival thing, that is. Congratulations. It would have been really nice if they had given you a credit, though.
