Day Off & It’s my Par-Tay
May 27, 2005
Movie Quote of the Day:
“Ho ho ho! It’s your birthday!”
–Kronk, Emperor’s New Groove
I took the day off today. Not only because it’s my birthday but because I wanted the four day weekend. Plus I get to have four days with my guys.
Last night started off interesting. My son was complaining of a tummy ache and so as I was holding him, he puked all over me. Nice. Seems his lunch didn’t agree with him. Poor thing was sick most of the night. He seems to be better today, though tired.
And so am I. We have this futon upstairs, so he and I slept on it last night so I could be with him while he was sick. I think we finally got to sleep good around 2 am. Then at 7 this morning he patted me on the arm and said, “Mom, the birds said it’s time to get up.” URGH.
DH made a nice breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, and coffee. Today I’m getting all my submissions ready for mailing and going to the post office. Then I think I’d like to go to Best Buy since we got some coupons in the mail and THEN I’d like to hit DSW since I still have that $25 reward card waiting to be spent.
Of course, all of this will depend on how the baby is feeling.
Sometime this weekend, we’re going to get to the movies to see Star Wars. I am so excited about that.
And that’s about all I have to say about that. ![]()
