What Kind of a Writer Are You?
June 28, 2005
This is TRUE!

You’re a pantser, someone who “writes by the
seat of her pants.” You’re the type of a
writer who has a brilliant story idea, and runs
with it. You’re very creative, with the source
of your creativity in spontaneity. Outlines
bring you down, and you could never write a
story if you knew ahead of time how it was
going to end. You’re a free spirit who writes
as whimsy inspires you without worrying overly
much what others will think.

Quote Du Jour:
The world has changed…I feel it in the water…I feel it in the earth…I smell it in the air… Much that once was, is lost… For none now live, who remember it…
–Galadriel, Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
Busy day today. I have one proposal going out and another one due out tomorrow. So I’ve been printing covers and laminating and then printing tabs, collating and organizing and just getting ready for it to be printed, bound, and shipping. Isn’t my job glamorous?
Anyhoo.. Found this little tutorial for Photoshop for beginnings. I’m so thrilled because I learned to do this:
.
Okay, so it’s not much, but HEY! I DID IT! I was proud of my effort. After years of the mystery of Photoshop, I finally figured out HOW to use it.
The world of graphics has just opened up to me even more. I’m hoping that someday I can do my own snazzy websites instead of using other creations (not that I don’t like others creations, but there’s just something satisfying about doing it yourself. You know?)
Decided to do my friend, Devon’s, 13 Traveling Journals project. Check it out. It’s very interesting and exciting.
Worked on a few pages of the new WIP. Got about 1000 words done. Today I need to work on the serials so I’m hoping to get some time later on to do that. My goal: two issues per each serial.
I got my press release written up for the 104th issue of Ransom & Fortune. It will be released tomorrow and I’ll post the link when it’s available. I’m running a contest to celebrate the milestone and the details will be posted on my website this evening.
Check out the “Interview Questions†below. Wanna play? (Come on, I know you do…)
Well, must dash. My paper delivery just arrived.
