End of an Era
November 9, 2005
I resigned from KIC today. As well as an email, the letter goes into the mail officially with delivery confirmation. It was something I’ve been needing to do for a while now. I know several other authors who have resigned and I think it’s the smart thing to do.
One the one hand…sadness. On the other hand…relief. I’m glad it’s over. I loved the deadline writing and I miss hanging out with Skye and Dane. But I look forward to moving on with those serials and hopefully turning them into stand alone novels. That’s the future goal, anyway.
If there are any subscribers to either serial – Scars of Yesterday or The Adventures of Ransom & Fortune – whose subscriptions were not fulfilled, please email me!
As far as other writing, I wrote all of two sentences yesterday. But I got some good leads on some epublishers that are possibilities. Still deciding on what to do with the novella.
A splinter update – looks like it managed to work itself out! Very relieved on that front, too.
And work update – not at liberty to say yet what’s happening, but the wheels are in motion and it looks like I’m going to be doing something incredible. I’m completely thrilled and excited but don’t want to say more until I know exactly what’s going to happen.
More later. Must dash!
