Something Incredible Happened
November 23, 2005
My friend has been bugging me to submit to a new epublisher that was lauched the former founder and executive of Ellora’s Cave.
She’s been after me for about 2 weeks now to submit because they are looking for new talent. So I finally gave in yesterday and just submitted my synopsis and first three chapters of my contemporary novella, Talk Dirty To Me. Revised my query letter to tailor it for them. (Which it’s an awesome query letter if I do say so myself). Shrugging noncommitally, I figured what the hey and submitted, then quickly put it RIGHT out of my mind. Hadn’t thought about it again, as a matter of fact.
Until today. I got an email from the owner/editor late this afternoon requesting the full. Talk about a blood draining experience. I gasped OUT LOUD and nearly fell out of my chair. I have NEVER had anyone request the full. EVER. So I’m thrilled, needless to say, and I sent it on as soon as I walked in the door.
Here’s hoping.
