Rainy Saturday
January 28, 2006
Woke up to the sound of rain at about 4 am this morning. That’s an unusual occurrence seeing as how we haven’t gotten any around these parts in…oh… forever. It rained most of the day.
Went and bought Sweetie Boy some new shoes. In the rain. I don’t like getting rained on, ya know. Then it was off to Wal Mart :dead: where I was highly annoyed with everyone in my way there. I managed to get out alive with my purchase and back to the house but by the time I hit the house I felt insane. So I took a nap.
Took the baby to Applebee’s where they sat us at the first booth by the front door.
The waiter was annoying as hell and the baby decided after we ordered the Sprite he wanted tea. We finally got our food order in and when it arrived, I’ve never seen a kid eat so fast in my life. And he ate some of mine. He was starving I guess. And then he promptly climbed in my lap and fell asleep. Poor lil guy. Guess I wore him out today.
Tomorrow it’s off to Sysenlaw’s to see their new house and have dinner with ‘em. I can’t wait!

Sounds like a very nice day - and I’m sure le kid enjoyed it thoroughly.
Thinking of you, and wishing you the best.

What a fun day for you and your sweetie! Everywhere I go I seem to be “reffing” between my two boys, and my VERY tattle-taling 8-year old…
:wall:

You are brave going to Walmart. I avoid it like a case of hives.
Growing boys… they eat so much! Himself still costs me a fortune in groceries, and he’s 27!! heh heh

There were dog footprints all over my kitchen - sheesh - we need the rain but why do the dogs have to go out when it rains???
