Quote of the Day:
“We whine when we have a boyfriend and we whine we when we don’t.â€
-Miranda, Sex and the City
Don’t forget! Issue #3 of the Ransom & Fortune is out today!
Whew. Yesterday was hectic. I hit the ground running as soon as I got into the office and it didn’t let up. I had to leave early to pick my son up from school. Then it was off to Barnes & Noble because I heard Josh Holloway was on the cover of Men’s Health and OMG it was so totally worth the money to buy that magazine. He is beautiful! No shirt. Wet. *drool*
Anyway, after the ex got home, I took him by there and we packed his bag because he’s staying with my mother until Thursday night. We hit the road about 6:30 and it took me about an hour to get to her house. I took a pair of pants that needed to be hemmed. Anyway, Sweetie Boy watched cartoons and played with his cards he got in his Chick-Fil-A kid’s meal while Mom marked my pants that needed to be hemmed.
I had bought them last weekend at Penney’s and I guess the new style is to have the pant legs so long they cover your entire foot. She cracked up when I put them on and she saw them – even with heels on, you could see my pretty shoes and I’m all about the pretty shoes. So anyway, she’s hemming them up THREE inches and taking them in an inch and a half in the waist because apparently I’ve lost weight there and they were too big.
I dropped off the baby and went home and stayed up way too late watching a movie. I had no desire whatsoever to get out of bed this morning.
No writing to speak of and I suddenly realized I have the chapter newsletter to put together this week. Guess I need to get started on that, huh?
Okay… I need coffee and time for work.
:coffee:
