Quote of the Day:
No pleasure philosophy, no sensuality, no place nor power, no material success can for a moment give such inner satisfaction as the sense of living for good purposes, for maintenance of integrity, for the preservation of self-approval.
- Minot Simons
Hop on over to the Inara Press forum and check out The Adventures of Ransom & Fortune room. Meet the hero, heroine, and villains of the serial and – uh – yeah, me too tomorrow. And don’t forget about the scavenger hunt on Friday!
Dane posted a message this morning, talking about the villain(s) of the story. So be sure to check it out.
I got chapters 1 and 2 revised of Nice Girls Do. Now on to chapters 3 and 4. I’ve decided I want to have the first draft of this book done by the end of June. That gives me one month and I’ll have to write my ass off. Hopefully things will slow down some and I can actually start writing like I really want to.
I got my submission package ready to go and it’ll be in today’s mail! Which means I need to finish the rewrite of this book so it can be ready…you know…just in case they ask for the full (which they aren’t but I still need to be prepared).
And that’s about all I’m working on right now.
I went shopping last night for a graduation present for my niece. I found nothing and instead bought myself a new outfit and a shirt from Victoria’s Secret. The clothes are sort of an early birthday present to me. I decided to go back to the mall and get her one of this Visa gift cards. I figured that’d be easier than trying to decide what to get her. And then she can pick out whatever she wants.
Tonight is LOST night! Season Finale! I can’t wait! I hope the writers don’t disappoint and they really do answer our questions. We’ll see, though.
Okay…off to work!

I have been avoiding everything Lost recently, which is VERY difficult. I got season one on DVD and watched the entire thing, but I don’t know what’s going on in season 2 and I don’t want to spoil it! Hope it’s everything you want it to be!
