I don’t feel much like blogging today. I have a serious case of the blahs coming on. I feel it. Probably because tomorrow is my birthday and I’m starting to feel (a) my age and (b) depressed about being 30+ with absolutely no one special to share it with. Have no idea why this is hitting me today all of a sudden.
Ah well. I’ll get over it. :yesmaster:

Make sure you go buy yourself something pretty tomorrow! I find I’m always disappointed by my birthdays, so I started a tradition a few years ago where during the day I go out and buy myself a birthday present. It’s totally fun, and now I look forward to spending time alone, sipping a latte as I wander my favourite neighborhood in Calgary searching for perfect birthday present for someone I take for granted. Don’t think your present from me will arrive by tomorrow, but it’s in the post! HUGS!

Happy Birthday! Joy, joy, joy!
It’s when you stop looking for that special someone, when you stop fixating, that he comes along and sweeps you off your feet!
May this birthday of independence signify that the best is yet to come!

Hope you have a happy day on your birthday. Just think of the joy you gave your parents the day you were born. d:))

Happy Birthday, Mik! This is a good day. Honey, go out and celebrate! These are the best years of our life. How many people get the chance to actually start over? You have a great career ahead of you, an awesome kid… honey, the world is your oyster! Enjoy! Enjoy!
P. S. Repeat these words to me next Friday when it’s my birthday… :dead:
