Shoe Quote of the Week:
“It’s really hard to walk in a single woman’s shoes–that’s why you sometimes need really special shoes!”
–Carrie, Sex and the City
I do so hate Mondays. I don’t know exactly why. Maybe because it’s difficult to get back into the swing of the work week after the weekend.
I didn’t blog at all this weekend, did I? I wasn’t much in the mood to blog so I gave myself a few days off. Saturday I had my boy for part of the day and we have a good time together. He’s very funny. He told me at one point: “Mom, you crack me out.” Made me laugh pretty hard. We were getting in the car to go to Wal-Mart and he told me it smelled like chocolate in the car. Hm. I couldn’t smell it but then later I got a whiff of it. Don’t know where it came from.
I talked to him on the phone last night and he told me that his allergies were “kicking his butt”. :hehe:
Then Saturday night I headed to Brother’s house where we recorded our first official podcast! WOOO! I have some stuff I need to write and get over to him but we should be going live with our weekly show in the next few days.
Sunday I headed home and finished up my laundry as well as finishing the edits on Book 2 of Ranson & Fortune. Now that it’s done, I can focus on other stuff. (However, I have this little voice in the back of my head that is saying - why don’t you write a third Ransom & Fortune book? And I keep telling this little voice to SHUSH because I need to finish MAGIC and NICE GIRLS DO and I really want to work on ONE KNIGHT ONLY. So shut up! hehe) Speaking of Ransom & Fortune, I did pick titles for both books.
Book 1:
The Adventures of Ransom & Fortune: A Bend In Time
Book 2:
The Adventures of Ransom & Fortune: A Break In Time
The only thing really left to do is name the chapters in Part 2 of Book 2.
I climbed into bed shortly after 10 and had no trouble falling right to sleep. Thank goodness.
Oh and I bought new shoes this weekend - but what else is new? They are fantastic shoes, too, by Nina. I couldn’t find them online so I’ll have to take of pic of them myself and post it.
Time to get to work, even though all I really want to do is go back to sleep.

Yeah, Mondays are stupid. I say we take them right out of the week all together. Then every week would be a short week! Ooh, I think I’m on to something here.
I think a third R&F book is necessary. Not only do I get the feeling Skye has a bit more to say, but I can tell you miss writing them. Like I always say, obey your muse!
