Sin City
June 28, 2006
Last night after I dropped off Sweetie Boy, I decided to watch Sin City. I stopped watching it about an hour in.
Not that it was a bad movie - it was way cool they way they filmed it in B&W with splashes of color. But to say it was violent would be a mild statement at the very least. I was very surprised with Elijah Wood’s character and even more surprised at his demise (sorry, that was a spoiler if you haven’t seen the movie). I made it to the part where Clive Owen shows up (Mmm) and even though his character is a little crazy - he is EXACTLY how I picture my hero, Dane Fortune.
More than likely, I’ll continue watching the movie tonight and finish it. Just to see what happens.
Needless to say, I got no writing done last night. I went to bed and laid there for an hour staring up at the ceiling until I finally fell asleep. This seems to be the norm lately. I’m exhausted - but I can’t sleep. What is UP with that?
Anyway - I still have this :censored: eye twitch. It doesn’t bother me when I’m at home, but the second I get to the office I starts up again. Think there’s a connection? :hehe:
That big thing I mentioned last week is in progress. The ball is rolling. Hopefully I can make it happen. More on that later, though. ![]()

You need to be a full-time writer, girl! I hope that’s in your plans because the world needs more Michelle Miles.

I HATE the eye twitch. I get it when I’m extremely stressed, or overtired. And yes, that little fluttering can drive a woman to drink. Hard stuff.
I hope you feel better soon!
