Rainy
July 5, 2006
Before I get started - Episode 2 of the Collective You is up! And we got our first review on iTunes. The reviewer gave us 5 stars and called us “radio divas”. WOOHOO!
Woke up this morning to the patter of rain. Needless to say, that did NOT make me want to get up right away.
I had restless dreams. I woke up at one point with a cat back in my face. I shoved him off the bed, much to his dismay.
I was rather busy yesterday, despite having the day off. I went to the old house and the ex and I organized the attic. I think I am finally 100% moved out. My outside storage is completely packed now, though.
Then I decided to be brilliant and finish painting my outside patio furniture. I had picked up a mask from Target to cover my mouth and nose so I wouldn’t breathe in the fumes. Since it was so humid out, though, the paint just sort of hung in the air. So I had to stop. It rained shortly thereafter.
I think the fireworks show still went on, though. I heard them booming around ten last night.
I listened to the first hour of Collective You (it’s just over 2 hours!) and then shut it off, climbed in bed…and wrote three pages on my new time travel.
Oh and on Monday I write three pages on Nice Girls and two more pages on the time travel. I am making progress!
I’ve set a goal for myself - have Nice Girls Do finished by the end of the month. Hopefully I can stick to that plan but I know me. I’ll get distracted by something, so I’m allowing myself to write on both stories but pushing hard to finish NGD this month.
And that’s about all I have to report at this time. May I say it really sucks there are two Mondays in this week?
