I always look forward to Fridays. Especially when they are paydays. Even though my money is already gone, I’m still glad I got paid. I actually paid off one bill! Now on to the rest…

I managed to get 3 pages done at lunch yesterday. I brainstormed some with a friend and got some ideas for the new-revised NGD. Finally! I think I have a story! I was very happy about that. So I wrote a new intro and tweaked the other new part I had which will be after the new intro. I think this story will go along with the playfulness of the first one. I feel like I finally have that portion resolved and can now just start writing. The overall story is still not that clear, but I am a pantser after all.

I spent the evening with my Sweetie Boy. We hung out, ate dinner, watched cartoons, then went to the post office. He got someone hard-headed right before it was time for him to go home. Then when his dad called at bedtime, he was having a problem with him. It seemed he didn’t want to go to bed. So I had a talk with him and told him it was way past his bedtime and he needed to be a big boy and go to bed. The baby, at least, sounded reasonsable when I talked to him. Wonder if he stayed in bed…

As I was online last night fretting over money and doing the money-shuffle, I happen to check my work email. So I know I have a ton of things to do today when I get in. I’m actually happy about. It certainly makes the day go by a lot faster! I hope to get more pages in at lunch today. I’d at least like to get the new first chapter completed.

I still have One Knight Only in the back of my head. I haven’t forgotten about Maggie and my sexy Scotsman, Finn! I need to get back with that one eventually. But I’m thinking, if I can get going on Nice Girls Do then I want to try and write it in about six weeks. Okay, I’m committing myself to that goal right now - six weeks to finish the first draft. Think I can do it? I’ll need all the support and pushing I can get so feel free to comment below and tell me to “get ‘er done”.

Next step will be to put a progress bar on the side…which I’m going to go find right now. And then it’s off to work.
