Why do the weekends seem to go by so fast? I mean, it seems like yesterday was Friday. And the kiddo started our Saturday off by dropping his cup in the toilet. Ew.

First, I had a great weekend with my Sweetie Boy. After sleeping in Saturday, we ran some errands and then went to Brother’s for the afternoon. While the kids played, sis-in-law and I watched The Family Stone and rolled with laughter. It was a great chick-flick type movie.

Sunday, we didn’t do too much. I bought the baby boy a new movie - Zathura - and he watched it four times. In three days. Yeah, I have it memorized. (Oh and the rescued astronaut is kinda hot played by Dax Shepard. Either he’s hot or I really need to find myself a man. Anyway…)

It’s still bloody hot here, too. :dead:

I got zero writing done this weekend, which is a normal state of affairs when I have the baby. Tis okay. I’m still bound and determined to finish Nice Girls Do. I just need to keep plugging away at it, but it seems like I’ve lost my momentum. Which sucks. I need it back! I was so inspired and so in the zone. What happened? I’ve had a couple of days off now, so now I really need to get back to it.

And now it’s time for work. I’m desperate for coffee :coffee:

   Yeah, I thought the astronaut was hot, too.

   But the GORGONS. They TERRIFIED my kids! :gaw:

   …but of course we own it, too.
