Long Week
October 6, 2006
I guess I’m still trying to get situated and adjusted to the new house. I haven’t quite figured out my little routine yet. I’m sort of still all over the place. Plus I have someone new in my life I like to talk to so making time for everything is definitely a challenge and one that I’ll gladly accept.
It’s been an incredibly long week. Suppose it’s because I’ve had things to look forward to every evening. I’ve discovered I really enjoy cooking in my new kitchen when before at the apartment I hated it. Maybe that’s because I have more room and all my kitchen things are where they’re supposed to be. I just have one tiny problem with the oven - the temperature dial spins around so the temp of the oven is anyone’s guess. I’ll be getting an oven thermometer very soon.
So last night, I paid bills and then watched LOST. I can’t say I was blown away by the premiere but I do like the show and it left more questions in my mind about who these people are. Ben is freaking and I’ve decided I really like Juliet. I have to wonder, though, if she’s a “bad guy” or really kind of a good guy. She was pretty nice to Jack, but then that could just be her angle. Anyway, I liked the show.
I recordered Grey’s Anatomy last night too and watched most of it before I fell asleep on the couch. I was supposed to be working on the chapter newsletter but I was so tired I couldn’t even sit at the computer. Too many late nights and hard working nights have caught up to me I suppose.
I have the baby this weekend and we’re off to visit some friends on Saturday. Think I’m going to swing by and see my mom on the way home. We’ve also got to find a Halloween costume this weekend. And sometime I’ve GOT to get to Ikea and buy that baby’s bed!
Still haven’t got back to writing but hope to get back to that VERY soon.
Happy Friday ya’ll!
