Pictures n Stuff
January 9, 2007
Isn’t it great how pictures say so much about a moment? You can cherish that thought, that feeling forever with one snap of the camera. And it’s so awesome to have that instant gratification with a digital. There’s no more wondering what that picture is going to look like before you print it.
Or download as the case may be.
My mom and Best Good Friend sent me photos from Saturday’s wedding. THIS is one of my favs of me and my Best Good Friend. Aren’t we dumb? And I was completely cracking up at something. Who knows what. But at the time it was VERY funny.
Now would be a good time to note that was right before the bride walked down the aisle. If my mother saw this in action, we would have both been in serious trouble.
:hehe:
Also got a great picture of me and my siblings. I can’t wait to print that out and frame it. That means I need a special frame. Target here I come!
Yesterday I wrote a whole page on the dragon story. WOO! I sort of have a direction now. I’m adding a word meter to the sidebar, as if it wasn’t cluttered enough, right? I’ve found that seems to help keep me the most motivated, though. Watching that word meter move up and up and up.
Work was super busy Monday, too. Which I totally love when that happens. It makes for a really fast day. And I love being productive. It’s nice to have a job I really like and a boss who is wonderful to work for. Plus I have some of the coolest co-workers in the world so that makes for a great day job too.
I’ve been itching to pick up cross-stitching again. I have several unfinished projects I’d like to complete. One is Celtic with the saying “100,000 welcomes” in Gaelic. I’d like to get it done and put it up near the front door. Plus I have “Arthur and Guinevere” to finish and that’s on linen at like 28-count or somesuch. And the chart is like four 11×17 sheets taped together. Yeah, that’s a massive project. But I’ve been thinking about it lately. It’s one of those activities that you can sort of zone out while doing it. Great thinking time about WIPs.
Before I forget - I blogged over at ShoeIQ yesterday. Check it out if you get a second.
And that’s it for me. It’s off to work!
