Sunny!
February 3, 2007
The sun is out! This is the first time in days we’ve seen it. But it’s still cold out there.
Last night, we had a fire in the fireplace, had snacks, and watched cartoons. It was great. I intended to sleep in today but instead woke up at 6:30. I was NOT happy about it. I refused to get up and laid there for about twenty minutes when a little person came and climbed into bed with me. He snuggled up next to me and shared my pillow. We both crashed out.
Woke up a little after eight to he streaming sunshine in my bedroom. It faces east, so it get the morning sun. The front of the house faces west, so the afternoon sun hits the other bedrooms.
Anyway. We have some errands to run this morning. I’ve got to get to the bank and then I told the baby boy we’d stop at Chick-Fil-A for breakfast. Then back home and we’ll hang out. He’ll be with his dad today and tomorrow and I’ll be working on the contest and the newsletter. And then I’ve got to get to Wal-Mart because I’m out of light bulbs (and the two are burned out on my garage door opener). I also need to get to the post office and mail out a package today. So. Lots to do.
I’m just happy it’s Saturday and SUNNY!
