Stress
March 7, 2007
24 working hours until Spring BreakÂ
I’m feeling rather stressed out and agitated lately. The last few days have not been so fun.
Of course, that could be because I have short-timers disease. After all, it’s almost time for me to go on vacation. WOOHOO!
I figured bills last night and it was depressing.
However, on the brighter side… my new electric stove will be delivered today. WOO! I’m very happy about this and I can’t wait to get rid of my current POS. What a wonderful thing it will to be have something new to cook on. With a real self-cleaning oven. It’s going to be awesomeness.
Best Buy called to confirm the delivery of my stove and the message said to please call back and verify that I have received the message and someone will be here to accept delivery. Cool, I think. But I got the run-around with the effing store and it ticked me off. By the time I called back a THIRD time after getting transferred to the wrong department, I was losing patience. I told the guy so and told him that I needed the “in home service and delivery department.” He said I had to call another number. I lost it. I told him there was no way in HELL I was going to hang up and call another number and what the hell was he talking about I had to call the warehouse? He didn’t even respond and transferred me to customer service!
And I was even more TICKED. I filed a complaint right THEN and there. If that jackass doesn’t want to deal with customers, WHY THE BLOODY HELL IS HE ANSWERING THE PHONE? The gentlemen who answered was super nice and took my complaint and assured me he’d look into it. He then very nicely transferred me to the - guess what? - in home service and delivery department. I confirmed my date and time for delivery.
Haven’t been sleeping well lately. Lots of tossing and turning and waking up in the middle of the night or the very early hours of the morning. Which sucks. Have too much on my mind I think. And not really the stuff I want to think about.
I have to admit though, I fell asleep last night thinking about dragons and elves. It was cool. Wish I had time to write today.
And I still have those contest entries to read… and I still haven’t started. Yeah. I’m going to be in CRUNCH mode. haha
