So…
April 2, 2007
…it’s Monday already. WHY?
I watched the premiere of The Tudors last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think I have another permanent resident on my DVR.
I also got some pages done on editing the book. It’s veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slooooooooooooooow going. And driving me crazy. Mostly because I’m so exhausted all the time.
Colin - to answer your question. You’re right - it is supposed to be fun. But since I’m practically rewriting the book, it’s kind of a nightmare. Sometimes going from serial to novel is not an easy thing. Plus the story just sucks. There was a lot of “filler” that I’m having to ditch and actually write stuff to, you know, move the plot along. So it’s a lot of new writing. And I’m having to fix Skye’s wishy-washy character and make her the strong woman she was at the end of Book 1.
So. It’s a challege.
And as for the coffee smilie - I agree. I miss it too. But with the new version of WordPress, I haven’t had time to sit down and figure out how to make them show up again. When I uploaded what I thought was the code, it totally jacked up the blog and gave me all sorts of line errors. Nice! Plus, I’m still having other blog issues because I still haven’t emailed customer support to get the upgrade I did reversed. I guess I better do that today.
Anyway. Not much else going on with me other than work and work and more work. I have so much to do and just not enough time to do it and it’s very frustrating.
Oh well. I guess I’ll just keep on keeping on!
