Couldn’t Do It
June 1, 2007
I just couldn’t get motivated last night to write. I tried and tried and tried. But the late nights finally caught up to me and I had to crash. One chapter done this week is NOT good enough. I’ll just have to keep on trying.
My internet decided to go kaput last night too. It had been working most of the evening but about 9:30 it was gone. I had to call tech support which is usually a beating but it was actually okay. Turns out, the Hyatt somewhere nearby has a very strong wireless signal and was interferring with my DSL. The gal switched channels and it worked. She was super and she didn’t beat me down. I was happy when I got it working again in less than 20 minutes.
It was pretty humid last night and I couldn’t stand it. I broke down and turned the AC on. Luckily, I have the new programmable thermostat so it cycles better and shuts down during the night. Now I won’t have to remember to turn it way up when I leave in the mornings. It’ll do it for me automatically and hopefully it will save me some money.
Still tired and it’s time to hop in the shower and get the day started. I totally want Starbucks this morning…
