Full Circle
August 1, 2007
It’s here! The anthology is here! Full Circle: An Ars Concordia Anthology is now available for download here. This is an anthology put together from a great group of writers scattered all over the world. (And - hey - even I have a story or two!) I hope you’ll download it and read it and enjoy it. The entire anthology was edited by my good friend from Scotland, Colin.
So. Thank you, Colin, for all your hard work on this anthology. I can’t wait to sit down with it and read the pages of all these talented writers!
BUT WAIT! There’s more!
You can also get my freebie fiction! My new short story, The Soul of Sharah, is now available for download at my website here. This is sort of the prelude to the book I’m working on now, so I hope you’ll download and enjoy it as much as I’ve been enjoying working on this piece. It was nice to visit once again with Sharah and Daunte, even though the story is sort of tragic. Okay, I just gave something away. Go read it!
OH. AND! I finished the round 3 edits on BREAK IN TIME. Just need to do one more quick read-through and then it’s off to the editor. Yay!
The baby boy went with his dad for the evening, so I hit the mall on the way home. Penney’s was still having that great sale. I got a $30 skirt for $8.99 and some great shirts for $5.99. It totally rocked. I got a pair of pants, a skirt and shirt outfit, and four shirts for $100 and the receipt said I saved $95 that visit. WOOHOO! I love sales. And I was good… I stayed away - far away - from Coach Heaven. I so wanted to go look at the new stock and pet the bags but I wouldn’t allow myself. Especially since my Visa was in my wallet…
I also updated my website, which it was in desperate need of. So last night was super productive for me. It felt good. In fact, when the doorbell rang I was shocked it was 8 pm. It went way faster than I wanted. Especially since I had a bunch more stuff to get to.
I cleaned off my desk finally and I can actually see the top. Now I have some chapter business to tend to but that shouldn’t take me too long.
Today, I’m taking my boy to Six Flags. That should be great fun, eh? I hope it doesn’t rain, though it’s in the forecast. So we’ll see.
And oh my gosh I can’t believe it’s August 1…
