Blah day
March 25, 2008
It was another blah day today.
This morning I felt rather cruddy. I don’t know if there’s something going around or if it was just something that didn’t agree with me. After lunch, I finally started to feel a little better.
The kiddo has decided that waking me up at 4:30 or 5 am is a good thing. This morning, as he climbed into my bed, he announced there was a shadow man in his room. UH HUH. I told him it was his imagination because I knew there was no such thing. He said he sees “him at my dad’s” too. Hm.
I’m sure it was just a ploy to get into Mom’s bed.
I still haven’t written much of anything. Bad me! Bad! I’m about to hit it tonight, though.
One thing I’ve discovered about Delilah is she’s really picky with her men. At first, I thought it woud be about her and Sam but Sam isn’t really making himself a part of the story. Instead, the gallery owner from Amsterdam keeps popping up and she keeps talking to him and they keep having these wildly interesting conversations about life and love. I’m starting to wonder if he really wants to be the hero here. But then…where does that leave Sam? And then I’m starting to think a title change might be in order.
The vision of the book has changed as I’ve been writing it. Even though I had a mini-synopsis. I guess that just goes to show you never know what these characters are going to do.
Okay, that’s it for me. I want to get some words in tonight before I pass out.
Tomorrow is Wordless Wednesday!
