Another Day
April 15, 2008
Happy Tax Day! Hope everyone has their taxes done. I filed mine back in February. hehe
I feel a little better this morning though I woke up with a clogged head. I swear, that is the WORST feeling in the world. The kiddo is feeling poorly too - but he’s like me. It’s all allergies. He’s coughing. Again. And sniffly. So I loaded him up with allergy meds. And me too. Hopefully, today we’ll be better. And hopefully we’ll get over this quickly.
I got nothing done yesterday. I left work early and layed on the couch for a couple of hours before the kiddo came home. I dozed off an on. Mostly off. I got a call from Man #1 and we chatted for about 45 minutes while he drove. Then I pulled myself off the couch and finished reading a friend’s WIP.
When the kiddo got home, he was feeling poorly so we had a low key evening. I bought a rotisserie chicken from Wal-Mart and he munched on that and then we had Starbucks Java Chip ice cream. I washed his soccer uniform and then we both turned in at 9.
But he wasn’t so ready to go to sleep. I was trying to read and I hear, “I’m hungry!” from his room. I get up and get him a piece of string cheese - because that seems like a good snack in bed. Then a few minutes later… “Mom! I’m thirsty!”
sigh
I get him a drink and finally get back to bed. And then as I’m drifting off, I hear right by my bed, “Mom, my other tooth is loose.”
GREAT! Now go back to bed!
He has several loose teeth but he WILL NOT pull them. One is hanging by a thread. It’s driving me nuts. I can’t convince him to get it out. I’ve threatened trips to the dentist and everything. Nothing works. I’ve even promised him the Tooth Fairy but to no avail.
Any ideas? He’s got his permanent tooth coming in behind it. I need to it out.
And to top things off…I slept weird. My neck is KILLING me today. I really sucks to have a pain in the neck (HAHA) and a sinus headache at the same time.
Well, off to work and school!
