Stars make it to Round 2
April 21, 2008
It was a hairy game last night. The Stars were down 1-0 going into the third. I was getting depressed they were going to lose. But they came out strong and playing hard. They scored two goals right off the bat and then another goal later on in the period. Modano got an empty net goal with 3 seconds remaining, sealing the win for the Stars.
Bye-Bye Ducks! We hate you anyway.
What I thought was great was the chorus of boos the Stars fans gave everytime Pronger touched the puck. heh heh heh Stars fans are the best.
I got my siding yesterday! Oh it looks so nice, too. And the hole is gone. Plus the kiddo and I went to church and I’m so glad I did. It was a really good sermon.
We did laundry, he played Wii, and then we went to the grocery store after the siding guys finished up. Talk about a beating. I hate the grocery store. Yuck. And I spent way too money, which seems to be the norm these days. That’s what happens when you have a growing boy I guess.
The first grade is having a program on May 5 and I had to buy an orange shirt. Luckily I found one at Wal-Mart for only $3.50. Whew. I was afraid I would end up going all over town looking for that color of shirt.
The kiddo has an eye appointment this afternoon so I’ll be taking him out of school early. And now I must dash to work. Happy Monday!

You think you’re grocery bill is high now? Wait till kiddo is 15 and he and all of his hairy friends hang out at your house and eat everything in sight. Then you’ll see a grocery bill!
