Can’t catch a break
April 25, 2008
I finally get the back eaves fixed and the hole gone with the siding only to have my stupid garage door break. Again.
I’ve had it with the thing. I went through the Val-Pak coupons and found one for a garage door company. I called them. They will hopefully come out Saturday (but I have soccer and end of year party that day so I’ll be gone most of the day).
Just when I think I might start to get ahead…
Oh well. That’s life I suppose. I was so depressed, I bought a pair of shoes from Zappos. They look surprisingly like a pair of Manolo Blahnik’s in one of the Sex in the City episodes that Carrie wore (where her shoes got stolen).
Last night when we got home, the kiddo fell asleep at 6. I couldn’t wake him up for dinner. I finally ended up putting him in his PJs and tucking him in bed. He slept until 6:15 this morning. I guess he was tired!
It gave me the time to watch Grey’s Anatomy and Lost. Regarding Lost - CAN YOU SAY SHOCKER? Wow. It was a terrific episode and it reinforces the fact that Ben is really quite creepy…and a man gone mad. And I hate that he’s taking Sayid down with him. Okay, that wasn’t really a spoiler just in case you haven’t seen it yet.
I’m so glad it’s Friday. Tonight, I’m going to immerse myself in my edits!

So tell me what happened, since I don’t watch the show anymore!
