T.G.I.Paint Weekend
I’ve already emptied the bedroom except for the bed. Today’s task is to prime the dark red wall (bye, bye!), fix cracks, and paint the ceiling.
Tomorrow, I will actually be putting paint on the wall. I’m so excited! It’s going to look great when it’s finished. At least, I hope.
And here’s something great – it’s raining! And it’s currently 68 degrees! I put the trash out this morning and nearly shivered. The wind woke me up at about 2:45 am followed shortly by heavy rain, some thunder and lightening. It rained for a long while and I laid there and listened to it. Couldn’t go back to sleep.
This morning, my cell phone rang and woke me up at 7 am. Some guy on the other end says, “Hey, baby.” Too bad he had the wrong nunber becuase he had a sexy voice. 
Oh, and yes, Lara. I make my bed. Every day. I can’t sleep in an unmade bed. Is that weird? 
I’m off to get my first cup of coffee. I’m so tempted to open windows and doors since it’s so lovely outside!

As I was reading about the dark red paint, I’m also seeing the red shoes and picturing the ceiling that color. lol It sounds sexy but not very restful. Happy painting!

I cannot wait to see the new look! And I just love storms. Especially waking in the middle of the night with one raging outside.

Hi Edie! Thanks for stopping by! The wall isn’t quite as red as the shoes… more like a brick red. I’m glad it’s going away. I must have been insane to paint it that color to begin with!
And yes – I will be putting up pics!

Happy painting. It looks like you are well underway. Make sure you get some clear glaze to paint along the tape. That way you’ll get a clean line.
