Even though I went slow yesterday, I’m still in some pain today. I put the heating pad under me on the couch last night while I watched the Olympics.
Speaking of… that Michael Phelps is AMAZING! I thought for sure he was going to lose that race and then he ends up winning by 0.01 of a second. WOW! Winning by the length of a fingernail, literally! I still don’t know how he did it, watching the playback in slow motion. I was in awe.
And then the men’s beach volleyball. That Swiss team gave our boys a hard time. That Martin guy on the Swiss side is kind of an ass. And really a sore loser. The announcers kept talking about how how and his brother used to play as a team and they never spoke to each other - on or off the court. I think that’s sad. They even showed a clip from the Athens Olympics where the Swiss team scored, his brother wanted to give him some kudos, and the guy just walked by him. What an ass.
So I’m glad our boys won. It was a close game, too, but Dalhauser and Rogers played hard and got us the win. They came back from a 6-0 deficit, too. Just a great game.
Anyway… soccer practice starts this morning for the kiddo. He’s with his dad, but he asked me last night if I was going to come. So instead of starting to paint, I guess I’ll go check out his practice and then come home and get busy. I may end up painting one color today and the other color tomorrow, just to keep from killing myself.
