We have soccer pictures at 8:30 this morning (urgh) and then a game at 10:15. Both a different venues. So I’m sure we’ll be rushing around like mad this morning. After the game, it’s straight home to sit and wait because the new sofa will be here between 12 and 4. Terribly excited about that. I only hope the delivery happens closer to the 12 o’clock hour as opposed to the 4 o’clock hour but we all know how those things go.

The kid and I were both up at 6:30. What’s up with that? Of course, I crawled into bed at 9 sick to my stomach and trying not to throw up. Bad hot dogs, I guess. I fell asleep somewhere between 9:15 and 10 and slept like the dead. Guess I needed that.

The hand is hurting today. I suppose that’s a sign of the cooler weather.

Now it’s time for much-needed coffee, breakfast for me and kid and a shower for me… Why I gotta be up so early?
