About
July 11, 2008
Michelle Miles writes in a several genres but finds she enjoys creating other worlds best of all. In addition to working full time, she is a single mom, a coffee drinker, and a shoe fanatic.
She began her semi-prolific writing career long ago in junior high when she and her then-best friend wrote and illustrated their own Indiana Jones comic books. Star Trek fan-fiction quickly followed on the heels of that, as well as Star Wars fan-fic. Later, she dabbled in her own science fiction stories and some historical fiction (princesses, towers, and handsome princes!), and finally found her footing on contemporary ground. Her first book, Talk Dirty To Me, is available through Samhain Publishing as an ebook and is the first of the Coffee House Chornicles. She continues the series with Nice Girls Do and is currently searching for a home for the third book.
But Michelle quickly discovered her thirst for adventure and romance wasn’t sated. Hence, she invented the lives of Skye Ransom and Dane Fortune, a time traveling duo who happened to be stuck in time together. The story of the inventor’s daughter and the hit man can be discovered in A Bend In Time and finished in A Break In Time, both available through Samhain Publishing and Amazon.Com.
Michelle is a member of Romance Writers of America. She resides in suburban Fort Worth with her cat and her precocious son. In her spare time, she enjoys watching hockey, reading, adding to her shoe collection and–of course!–drinking coffee.
