Forgot one VERY important thing

GO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!

Game 5 if necessary…is Necessary!

Okay. I confess. I headed into last night’s game with the attitude that the Stars would lose. After all, I had to prepare myself for the sweep. I didn’t want to get my hopes they could win, knowing their season would be over and I would have to wait until October to see my guys again.

However… it was probably one of the best playoff games I’ve ever seen. No score in the first, and then the Stars went up in the second. They came out strong and hard and got the lead first. Granted, Detroit came back and scored again to tie it up, but the Stars didn’t allow them to get ahead. Ever. There were some very intense moments. Especially when the Stars went up 3-1 in the third period. Morrow and Modano both got penalties with 40 seconds to spare… and Detroit had pulled Osgoood to get an extra attacker on the ice. Talk about tense! I was sitting with my hands in my hair the entire time…and yeah, those were the longest 40 hockey seconds of my life. I’m sure they were for the Stars, too.

I’m happy for Marty Turco. He played a helluva game. He only allowed one goal through. I know it’s a huge long-shot for them to pull another win out on Saturday, but if they can keep the offense up like they did in this game (and the penlty killing as excellent as it was), then they MIGHT be one of those historical teams that comes back from a 3-0 deficient. Might.

The playoff mantra has been “Believe” and it certainly looked like they believed last night!

Tonight, all eyes will be on the Eastern Conference to see if the Flyers can pull a Dallas Stars trick out of their hat. ;)

At any rate, here are 5 reasons why I love the Stars:

  1. We have hotter men than Detroit
  2. Our captain, Brenden Morrow
  3. Penalty killing and Power Plays can be and quite often are supurb
  4. Our fans are nicer than Detroit fans
  5. AND we have Bill Ollerman, the voice of the American Airlines Center. haha

Oh, and, I got a sports related injury during the game. When they got their third goal, I did a “YAY” and jumped up with my arms straight up…and my hand went in the ceiling fan. My knuckle on my third finger immediately turned blue. It’s bruised. And ugly. But you know? Totally worth it. ;)

Now for American Idol. Okay – um - DUH. I think we all knew the Davids would be in the finals. I’m curious to see how they do next week. I’m still rooting for David Cook! I’m also looking forwars to Lost and Grey’s Anatomy tonight.

As for writing… I did manage to eek out five pages. Okay, so it took me two days to do that BUT at least I’m writing again. I’m completely rewriting the opening of my fantasy with romantic elements. I want the main story element that pushes her into her quest to happen in the first 30 pages and, really, if you think about it… that’s pretty quick!

Okay that’s it for me. I’m wrapping up and headed to work and school. Happy Thursday!

Monday…

I hate Mondays.

I had a fairly decent weekend. Saturday went to a wedding shower and then headed to Mom’s for dinner and hockey. Stars lost. Another dismal game. I have a lot of complains about that game – especially the cheap shot Osgood took at Riberio when the game ended. He’s lucky he didn’t get more than a retaliation stick in the upper chest. But that’s all I going to say about that game. ;)

Got home close to 10 and I was exhausted. I decompressed in front of HGTV and quickly fell asleep on the couch. Finally dragged myself to bed.

Got up early Sunday and started laundry, cleaned the house and the cat box. Made breakfast. Then we headed off to church. Afterward, we had some lunch and then went to see Iron Man. I have to say – it was a really good movie! A little intense for my baby boy in some parts, but he hid his eyes. hehe Robert Downey Jr is quite excellent in the movie.

Went to Pei Wei for dinner. Came home, put the kid in the tub and then in bed. Watched a couple of shows and tried to be depressed that gas is $3.59 a gallon and milk is $4.00 a gallon. These high gas prices are starting to take a toll on me. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m going to make it week to week and that’s scarey.

Not much else going on. It’s off to work and school now.

Stars win in 4th OT!

What a game that was! I watched the first three periods and most of the first overtime, but dozed off during the second and third. By the time the fourth started, I was awake and watching. When the Stars went on the power play, I knew that was it. They had to win with that goal. It seems right and fitting it was Brenden Morrow who made the game winner, especially after being denied two goals in San Jose on Game 5. So the game ended at about 1:30 and I watched a few of the highlights before heading to bed.

Morning came fast, too. BLAH!

I had a great weekend. Man and I went to Scarborough Faire on Saturday and walked around all day. I got new rings and a really cool castle drawing. Oh yeah and a skirt and a chain mail belt that rocks. We had a great time and I was loathe for the fun to end.

Sunday was laid back. Did laundry and went to the grocery store. The kiddo came back to me after 6 and we had a nice evening together. Went fast though.

Tonight he has his program at school. He has to be there at 6:15. The school year is starting to wind down and there are going to be lots of activities between now and the last day of school. Can’t believe how fast it’s gone!

Okay that’s it for me. Gotta get to work and take the baby boy to school.

Stars lost

Very sad the Stars lost last night. I was hoping for a sweep of the Sharks. Both teams looked sluggish. The back-to-back games took their toll and it was clear. The Sharks manages to get two goals, though, and won the game. Now they travel back to San Jose for Game 5. The Stars have a prove track record in the Shark Tank, so I have every confidence they’ll close out the series there.

Yesterday, I took the kiddo to the dentist for his first appointment. He has three cavities and needs three teeth pulled to make room for his permanent teeth. sigh I had a feeling he had a cavity. I could see it on one of his molars. I foresee many, many trips to the dentist in our future.

Woke up with a sinus headache this morning. It’s supposed to be in the mid-80s this afternoon. I guess I better get the AC on before I leave so it won’t be so stuffy in the house when we get home. We’ve been lucky in that we haven’t had to run heat or air for about a month now.

And can you believe it’s May? I can’t. Last month FLEW. I have 10 days to get those season passes for Six Flags before they stop selling them. I guess I better get on that!

One more day until the weekend…and I’m VERY much looking forward to a couple days off.

Whew

Don’t forget! Romantic Days Scavenger Hunt is still going on! Click here.

Last night was…scary. Tennis ball sized hail in the western counties. And there was a touchdown of a tornado north of Aledo. I watched the weather from 6:30 until about 8. We only got heavy rain. None of the bad stuff of high winds. Thank goodness. I was worried we’d have huge hail and it was making me a nervous wreck.

I had unplugged the computers, much to the disdain of my son. He had so wanted to play on the computer last night but I was afraid we wouldn’t have much time to get ready if the storm hit.

Once the cool front moved through last night, my allergies started getting better. I’m still tired from restless sleep but at least I can breathe easily.

In other news, yesterday was a pretty good day. The Stars won! Which puts them 3-1 in the series. Now it’s back to Anaheim where I hope they finish the series and get it over with. Then we can say bye-bye to the Ducks (whom I detest).

I also got some comments on my WIP I’m working on and they were really helpful. I’m trying desperately to get back to writing and am doubly my efforts. Maybe next week I can actually get some done. I’m failing miserably so far in my 5 manuscript goal.

I have some other things brewing but I don’t want to blog about them yet. I should know something early next week, though. I know, the suspense is killing you. :)

I have a luncheon today at the school thanking us “volunteers” for our time. I’m so glad it’s Friday. Tonight the kiddo is with his dad so I’m going to do some catching up on stuff at the house. And get some rest. I so need it.

Scavenger hunt begins today!

Hey all – Me and a host of other authors are having a Scanvenger Hunt. Get on over to the Romantic Days blog for daily questions. The winner gets an ebookwise LOADED with ebooks. YAY!

I drugged myself up last night before bed so I feel somewhat better this morning. At least not as lethargic.

However, the Stars lost last night. GRR They allowed the Ducks to get a 3-0 lead and then they fought hard to come back. They made a valiant effort in the last few minutes of the game, but it still wasn’t enough. So the series is now 2-1 Stars. I hope they manage to pull out a win here at home on Thursday.

In other news… yesterday was an interesting day. Man #1 had been out of town for a few days and when he came back yesterday, he was super busy. So we didn’t get to chat much. However, at about 2ish that afternoon, a beautiful flower arrangement arrived for me. He sent me flowers! And all because he missed me. Aww! You know, there’s nothing better–in my opinion–than flowers just because. (As opposed to birthday, mother’s day, whatever-day.) I thought it was very sweet.

We had a busy evening – it was McD Nite at McDonald’s. It’s a fund raiser thing the school does so we went with 6023948 of our closest friends. My gaw it was so crowded. I let him play for about 30 minutes but that was all I could stand. I had to drag him, pouting, away. But my ears were bleeding from all the girls screaming. You get girls together and what do they do? They scream. I swear, glass broke once or twice with all the high pitches. haha

By the time we got him, it was nearly 7 and since the baby boy wasn’t doing so well, we ran up to Walgreen’s. I found a vaporizer. It was the LAST one so I bought it. It really helped him sleep last night. He didn’t cought and he’s not that sniffly today. I also put a Breath-Rite Strip on him, which he thought was totally cool. And it worked! He didn’t snore.

Okay that’s it for me. I’m off to school and work!

Weird Day

Yesterday turned out to be…strange.

I’m so thankful the house didn’t sustain any damage from the storm the other night. Driving to work Thursday, I saw billboards literally bent in half and touching the ground. Houses lost roofs and there were downed tree limbs everywhere. Even in my neighborhood. I’m thanking my lucky stars I still have that Guardian Angel watching over me.

After I did a cursory glance of the house, it was off to school and work. Then I had to go to Discount Tire to get my tires balanced. The guy checked them and came back in only to tell me that all four were bald. Hoo.Ray. So that was an unexpected expense. And a big one. I hadn’t expected to buy four new tires right now. But the car had been shimmying and just didn’t feel right. Now, of course, it drives GREAT. And I have a 60,000 warranty on the tires and free rotating and balancing. Still, talk about sticker shock on the tires. CRAP. And because I have high performance tires and a “sporty” package on the car, they were more than I expected. Figures.

I had an appointment with Sears to come out and do an estimate for siding on the house. I have rotting eaves and a gigantic hole in one corner that was covered with chicken wire. Yeah. Not good. Especially with all this rain – it was just getting worse. So the guy came out last night and did an estimate and I nearly had heart failure. $8000 to do the entire house. Um. NO.

The guy, though, was super nice and figured the cost any way I wanted. Plus I’m locked in at that price for a year and I got no payments no interest for 12 months AND two discounts totally twenty percent off. I’m just getting the backside of the house done. The eaves and the soffits will be repaired finally. The NICE thing about vinyl siding is, when I decide to sell the house, I’ll get 100 percent back on my investment. Which rocks. I just hope I can get the front side of the house done next year and then maybe the wall boards on the two sides of the house. It’ll be a long slow painful process but won’t it look nice when it’s done?

Anyway, Sears does gutters, garage doors, and AC units, too. So I guess they’ll be getting a lot of my business over the next few years. hehe

By the time the guy left after doing all the paperwork, it was nearly 9 and I was beat and the kiddo was half asleep. He said he wasn’t tired but I made him go to bed anyway and he was out in 2.3 seconds. I sat up and watched the hockey game – Round 1 Game 1 against the Ducks. I hate the Ducks. I hope the Stars pummel them in this series. Stars won 4-1 but I slept through the third period.

The last two nights wore me out so I ended up crashing before the end of the game (especially with a 9 pm puck drop).

Very happy today is Friday and I have three days to myself. Actually, I have a date with Man #2 tonight and then tomorrow I have RWA and soccer and working on the contest. Got the contest entries judged and back to that other contest so I’m done with that. I’m slowly getting stuff checked off my list.

TGIF, ya’ll!

Happy Leap Day!

Today is a day that only happens every four years…so make the best of it. ;)

Can I just say I totally love this new blog? I’m thinking it’s a keeper!

Was I the only one bawling like an idiot at the end of Lost? And FINALLY! We got some answers. It was a great episode. Totally cool! I love Desmond. That’s all I’m saying – no spoilers here.

AND…the Stars kicked Blackhawks booty. They won 7-4. Brad Richards is our new guy and he had 5 assists. I think he was definitely a good addition to the team. I’m going to the game next Wednesday, so I’m looking forward to watching him play in person.

Plus the kid was in a pleasant mood, so it was a good evening all around.

At lunch yesterday, a co-worker friend and I went to Steinmart. I totally forgot about this store, but she had been telling me about some great deals she found there. So went went a lunch and I came away with another steal – Michael Kors shirt for $17. I was so happy! I can’t believe all the great deals I’m finding lately. I’m going to have to keep Steinmart on my list of places to shop.

When I got home from work, I had a nice refund check in my mailbox. That was a pleasant (and unexpected) surprise. Inching ever closer to getting me out of debt (even though I really want to blow it, I’m doing the adult, responsible thing and paying off bills. How boring!). But on the downside, my car insurance went up and I have no idea why. I’m going to have to call them and see what’s up. That was a bummer and really rather irritating.

Overall, the day was pretty bang up good. Shocking, really. I found good deals, the Stars won, I got money… all is right with the world! ;)

I haven’t written much in the last few days. I’m sort of waiting for March 1. And now that I’ve started the story, Delilah has suddenly shut up. I will have to make her talk. Perhaps special dark chocolate will coax her out of her silence.

This weekend, we have a soccer game on Saturday afternoon and then we’re headed to the movies on Sunday to see the Spiderwyck Chronicles. It’s supposed to rain that day, so it’ll be a perfect day to get out and do that.  We also have a school project to work on. He has to make a Texas flag – which of course means, *I* have to make a Texas flag. It has to be bigger than 12 x 18 and the colors have to be done in something OTHER than crayon. Okay, so I have to get creative. I haven’t come up with anything yet. Feel free to toss ideas my way. :) In the meantime, I’ll be heading to Michael’s, Hobby Lobby or Wal-Mart to see what I can find.

Tonight, though, we’re just hanging around together at the house. I love those evenings. They’re the best.

Oh, and I redid the fashion blog the other night too. I’m working on an entry right now about shopping smart (hehe) so when you have a chance, pop over here and check it out. I hope to have my post up sometime later today or maybe tonight.

Spa Day

I feel so extravagant. I just got hom from the Four Seasons - which was a lovely excusion with Best Good Friend, her sisters, and her mom. I got a lovely manicure and had a spa bath scented with lavendar. My gaw…it’s greatness.

We had planned the outing a while back. We’ve already decided we want to go back ASAP. Now I just need to save my pennies for the next time because I’m getting a spa pedicure if it kills me. haha

Not only that, but the Stars won last night! They came back from a 3-1 series, won the next two and now they are going to play Game 7 in Vancouver on Monday. GO STARS! They have the momentum now; let’s just hope they can make it to Round 2.

AND the murder mystery game was a giant success last night. A good time was had by all and all the prizes were awarded. The game lasted as long as the hockey game. hehe

If anyone ever has a change to do this online murder mystery game, you certainly should. It was a blast.

Oh…and… I’m on Amazon!

News!

Quote of the Day:
“It is good to have an end to journey towards; but it is the journey that matters in the end.”
– Ursula K. Le Guin

First! Some news. The Adventures of Ransom & Fortune is being pushed UP to a release date of April 12. Wa-hoo! I should have artwork and the mini-site very soon since the release date has been accelerated. Excitement. Can’t wait!

Also, since I’m going to have to start promoting hard and heavy, I’m taking out a few ads and also I’m starting up a newsletter. You can now sign up for my newsletter by clicking here.

Right now, it’s still in the development phase and I want to get as many people signed up as possible before I send out that first newsletter. So come on! Sign up! I will love you forever if you do. ;)

:dallasstars:
Well the Stars got spanked last night, losing 6-2 to Phoenix. How dismal is that! Thankfully, I fell asleep and I didn’t have to witness the end of the game.

Sweetie Boy and I went to Applebee’s for dinner. It’s his favorite place to eat of late and it seems to be “our thing”. He had the corn dog and he ate every single bite. He was cute – he didn’t want ketchup but he’d dip his French fries in mine on my plate.

I got the chapter newsletter in the mail last night! And a day earlier than I had originally planned. I love when I’m early for my personal deadlines. I thought about writing last night, but my brain just hurt so I didn’t do it. I know – I should have. But I just couldn’t concentrate enough on it all to do it. In fact, I have no much to report today in this boring blog entry.

Don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter!

Change of Plans

So yesterday I had planned to drive out to visit my mom, but as I was going to the post office, I got this from Sysenlaw in a text message:

Jason Arnott is here!

:dallasstars:
I called her immediately. You see, my niece is a figure skater and takes lessons at the StarsCenter. Part of the Dallas Stars were practicing that morning. She said they were going to take the ice at 11 and sign autographs after. “Get down here!” she said. So, since I really had nothing much else planned, I figured what the heck. Sweetie Boy and I got there just as the Stars were taking the ice and OH MAN were they gorgeous. This is a first time experience for me. I’ve been to the games, but I’ve never been able to be that up close and personal with them.

In the Stars Store, I bought some things that could be signed for me and the baby. I got a really cool new shirt and picked one out for the baby too, two practice pucks, stickers for the car (WOO! I can’t wait to get that on my car!), Sharpies to sign with. As I’m standing in line, Sweetie Boy sees wooden hockey sticks just his size at his eye level. He picks it up and says, “Mom, I want this!” so of course I add that to the list. Needless to say, I dropped a small fortune in the store, but hey – we’re worth it! ;)

I stood right on the edge of the practice rink at the glass and watched them. My arms and back are sore today from holding up my son. At one point Jason Arnott (#44) and Philippe Boucher (#43) were standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. The only thing separating me from manhandling that man (Boucher) was a pane of glass. OMG, he’s totally gorgeous. And holy crap is he tall. So is Arnott for that matter. Granted, he was wearing skates, but I swear I barely came to his shoulder (and I’m 5’7). Sysenlaw and I were beside ourselves and panting. Boucher actually turned around and grinned at us. He actually looked at me! We were so giddy we fogged up the glass and drew hearts.

The lady next to us asked if we were still 16 to which we heartily replied YES!
:hehe:

(In case you’re wondering, Sysenlaw decided she can have Arnott and I’ll take Boucher :hyper:)

We had a GREAT time and afterward went back to Sysenlaw’s house and had lunch while the kids played. I finally got to see that LOST episode I missed – The Long Con – and may I say Josh Holloway is so incredibly fine?

Anyway, I got Sweetie Boy home to his dad and went off to shop. I was in search of a holder for all my DVDs but couldn’t find anything that was inexpensive. I did, however, find four chair cushions for my dining chairs at Target for $5 a piece. WOOHOO! Today I have to get some groceries and I simply MUST get a vacuum cleaner. I can’t stand it. Then I need to box up this stuff I’m not going to unpack and get it into the outside storage. I can’t stand the boxes sitting around but I need to make sure they are airtight. I want to get to Wal-Mart today and Garden Ridge so I guess I better hop to it.

Oh, and the cat woke me up at 6:30 this morning. :plain:

Distraught

Last night, at the Frisco Stars Center, I missed THIS:

Philippe Boucher - Sexy Man #43
Hottie Philippe Boucher

and THIS:

Jason Arnott - Sexy Man #44
Sexy Man Jason Arnott

It’s a complete and utter tragedy. :wall:

Quote du Jour:
“Writing, at its best, is a lonely life.”
–Ernest Hemingway

Trouble on the Tracks
We live about a mile or two from some active train tracks. When the weather is cool, the sound of the train whistle really carries and since we’ve been sleeping with the window open… well… it’s loud.

So at 5:30 in the morning, we can hear the train rumbling down the tracks and the whistle blowing. OMG the whistle. Could it be more annoying? It’s like the conductor was playing some sick trick on the world – as if there is anyone out at that time of morning that he needs to blow the damn whistle so much. It went something like this:

honk
honk honk honk
honk honkhonk honk honk honk honk honk honk honk
honk
honkhonk
honk honkhonk honk

You get the idea. Went on like that for FIFTEEN (maybe twenty!) MINUTES straight. Now, when all you really want to do is sleep… THIS is annoying as hell. Made me want to sit straight up in bed and shout “SHUT IT!” but that would have been silly.

Maintenance Needed
I need a pedicure. Told Husband that last night. He pointed out I have all that feet stuff to do it myself. I told him, though, why should I do it myself when someone can do it for me? My cuticles are also a wreck. Worse than they’ve ever been. And it’s time for a trim and the gray is really getting bad in my hair so it’s time for my roots to get done. AND I need to get my eyebrows waxed. I’m a wreck, aren’t I? Sounds like it’s time for some serious maintenance.

A spa day would be fantastic!

Mik Lost Her Groove…Again
I’m trying. Really I am. Trying desperately to write this silly little novella. I know why I can’t, too. No direction. Just rambling nonsense with a steamy scene in a bar thrown in for good measure. What I really need to do… is buckle down and FORCE myself to write some semblance of an outline or a synopsis or SOMETHING that will help me stay focused. I mean, I really love the characters. The hero is hot and the heroine is just the right amount of sweet. And I’m really wondering if I should let her cave in chapter four and get down and dirty with the guy… or save it for a later chapter. When there’s some tension and character growth.

I don’t know. I just don’t. But I guess I’ll figure it out eventually.

It’s over, Johnny. It’s over!
Keep It Coming seems to have completely tanked. Things were supposed to go back online as of November 1. As of this writing, the authors have not heard a peep. And I know several who have resigned. I will be next. My contracts expire this month and next, but I’m not waiting. And I don’t think the editor should hold the 90 day thing over our heads either. Not after all her contract breaches of late.

It’s frustrating and annoying as hell.
:wall:

I know of two authors who have struck out on their own with the serials: Colin and Leigh. And I think it’s a great idea. I’m kinda sitting back, waiting to see how things work for them. I’m thinking about doing something similar… selling the serial maybe as an ebook through my website. I have enough material to do it and I could do the layout and design with some cool graphics myself, then make it into an ebook. Just thinking out loud here. I’m more interested in doing that with Ransom & Fortune than Scars of Yesterday. But it would require some proofing, editing, and possibly some fresh writing. Maybe… this is what I need to get back into the groove of things.

NaNo NaNo
And just a quick Shout Out to those doing NaNoWriMo this year. GOOD LUCK! May your fingers be swift, your brain be swifter, your story flow, and you reach the 50K mark!

:dallasstars:
Stars fell to the Kings AGAIN. Final sore: 6-3. What a dismal game.

Stars Stink Up Ice

Quote du Jour:
Losing gracefully is commended but never chosen.
–Mason Cooley

WOW.. what a despicable game last night. Can’t believe the Stars got their butts kicked so bad by the Kings. What happened to our Marty Turco? He was definitely having an off night. Poor guy. Thankfully, I fell asleep toward the end of the game to I didn’t have to witness the complete horror.

I think I have a crush on Bill Guerin. He’s kind of a hottie. Or maybe I’m just a walking hormone. Who knows.

In other news… I got an ergonomic keyboard at work. And you know, I kind of like it. I type like way fast on it. Not that I didn’t type fast before. Still, there’s something about this keyboard that makes my fingers fly. I guess because it’s ergonomic? Who knows. I’m lobbying for a flat screen monitor, but it looks like my chances are slim to none on that one. Hey, a girl has to try, doesn’t she?

Got to the office this morning to find Troll already here. At 7:30 am even. Wow! He was like, “You’re here early.” And I’m wanting to say, “No, dude… YOU’RE here early. I’m always here this early.” Like, duh. Who does he think makes the coffee? (Moi.) Anyway, I just gave him a sweet lil smile, nodded, and continued drinking my Starbucks (I got the Pumpkin Spice Latte today… it was yum).

Writing News
I finally wrote an entire scene yesterday. WA-HOO. It’s part of chapter three in my club. I guess I’m going to go with Legal Limit since that seems to fit. Next I need to decide atmosphere, music, yadda yadda. Definitely dark and smoky so they can get it on in the corner (well, not really…but at least do some serious smooching).

Anyway, hope to get that chapter three finished. I’m setting myself a goal of a chapter a week. That should get me back into the writing gear. And then once I get going on it, I can start writing my chapter a day again.

Still haven’t decided if I’m going to do NaNoWriMo this year. Probably not since I’ve already got a work in progress and I don’t want to stop writing it to do another new project. I sure would like to have a t-shirt anyway, though…
:hehe:

Good luck to all those doing NaNo this year, though!

Tag, I’m It
Tagged by Debra, I’m taking up the challenge:

1. Delve into your blog archives.
2. Find your 23rd post (or closest to).
3. Find the fifth sentence (or closest to).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions. Ponder it for meaning, subtext or hidden agendas.
5. Tag five people to do the show.

Here’s my 23rd post on April 25, 2005, 11:18 pm: Lost Muse

Fifth sentence: I thought I’d try to relax a little by downing two martinis.

HA. I really don’t drink that often so when I saw this sentence, it totally cracked me up. I was lamenting the fact that I was alone all the time. This would be during the time Husband spent three-four months solid in Baltimore, leaving me to single-mom it. Although he drives me crazy when he’s home, I’d rather he be here than there. Now, wasn’t that all mushy? And as for the title of the post – Apparently, I was going through another non-writing phase. Figures.

Five People:
1. Sandy J
2. Sandy S
3. Leigh
4. Lara
5. Marwa
