Just kidding… we had a great time at the Water Gardens yesterday. Today we’re headed downtown for lunch at Cabo Grande and then we’re going to the Omni for Dinosaurs Alive.

The Water Gardens weren’t all that busy which was shocking to me. I expected a swarm of people to the free attraction. Guess no one thought it would be all that fun. We had a blast.

Got home, cooked dinner, the boys played. I watched a couple of TV shows and then crashd myself. Tomorrow I head back to Mom’s. This sure was a fast week.

And since my fingers aren’t cooperating with typing, I’ll just leave you with a little video of yesterday’s outing. It’s about 4 mins if you’re so inclined.

Well…somewhat. The temperature didn’t get above 95 yesterday I think. And when I headed off to bed it was a balmy…86. WOO! I could really tell the house wasn’t all that hot when I got home from work, too. It was actually kinda nice! And leaving the house for work was…pleasant.

Of course the 100 temps will be back by next week. BOO.

I cooked a fabulous meal last night. Have I mentioned I’m loving this new recipe magazine? I might have. I get tired of making the same things over and over again so I like to try new things. So far, everything I’ve tried from the magazine has been delicious and easy. I find chicken gets really old and boring after a while. If you feel like you’re in the chicken rut too (haha) then try this! Spicy Bronzed Chicken. It’s yum.

It’s Thanksgiving! I’m off to my mom’s for the day with the baby boy. We’re planning to eat, drink and be very merry!
