Brain Dead

Ever have one of those days where you’re completely brain dead? Zero writing done. No wait, that’s not true. I got about 1000 words on the WIP.

I guess after finishing the romance, all my creativity was zapped. And I was thinking I would work on the adventure serial some. My Muse checked out again and took the day off.

I have images flashing through my mind. Thoughts, feelings, things like that. Nothing concrete enough that I can form words and write down. Not yet. And I felt so motivated Tuesday. Wednesday was a total wasted day.

The ozone alert is level Orange. They said it might be level Purple and I believe it could be that. I had this dull roar of a headache all day long. Ugh. Funny, it’s about 100 degrees outside, but inside, I freeze to death in the office. It’s so bloody cold I can’t stand it. I have a heater going!

All I wanted to do all afternoon was crawl between the sheets of my bed, pull the covers over my head, and go back to sleep filled with dreams. I had this weird dream about Lost the other day. It had a shirtless Sawyer in it. YUM.

Anyhoo… I digress. I had a good idea for the subplot of the medieval, so I’m going to work on that. And I really NEED to work on the adventure serial and get more issues done. I’ve got the ending pretty much worked out. Now I just have to get there. But it won’t be the complete end for Skye and Dane. I still have more story to tell for them, I just think I’d like to explore it in a novella format or something.

Spent a good portion of the evening looking for smilies for the blog. That was productive, eh?

Before that, I spent some time over at my friend’s house catching up and chatting. I swear, I think we could talk for hours and still not get tired. 😀

Oh, and YES Angela, I think the little man as the cup too. Still hasn’t turned up! 😡

Well, here’s the start of another day. Hopefully it will be more productive!

I wish you all could be inside my head. The conversation is sparkling.
