Here’s a teaser for the story:

The only respite Meira has from the illness that is slowly killing her is writing in her journal… and remembering a mysterious, handsome stranger named Eorwulf. They met on a footbridge in the dead of winter. His touch and kiss warmed her more than any fire. He offered to take her away with him, to a place where death could never touch her, but she refused. Now that she lingers, frail and fragile upon death’s door, will her enigmatic beloved return for her, as he had promised?

And that’s it for now. Time for work!
