Yesterday was GREAT. We had a fun day – and a full one. Stayed up way too late Monday night watching Letterman and Craig Ferguson and then slept in. Or tried. We both woke up at 6:30 when we’d normally get up for work. I had no trouble getting back to sleep, though. 😉

After we managed to get some coffee in us and get going, we went to the post office and applied for our passports. I’m so excited to finally get it! Went to the bank, then got lunch, then went to the zoo. The new Mola exhibit is open – it’s the new herpetarium and it’s really cool. I enjoyed walking through there and my personal favorites are the tiny frogs. I love the frogs!

The big cats were awesome, too. The bobcat actually growled and snarled at a guy standing next to me. The bengal tigers were wonderful. The gorillas were underwhelmed and the elephants were playful.

We finished the day off with dinner at Outback. Came home, watched Lost (I’m SO MAD about Lost and I wept like a baby).

Today: back to reality and writing! Time to buckle down.

Happy Wednesday!

I wish you all could be inside my head. The conversation is sparkling.
