Reading and Writing

I’ve been working on edits for the next book that’s due out next. It’s been a long, slow process and I still have a ways to go. I’m ready to be done with it so I can move on but right now I’m feeling a lot of pressure (on myself) to get it done and out.

I’m looking forward to getting back to my other WIPs. I have one that needs to go through editing before I can send it out. I’ve also started working on the second Knight book. That one I actually plotted out. 🙂 But I’m really excited about reading a fellow writer’s new WIP and it’s fantastic. I’m loving it.

Hopefully I can get more writing/reading done later this week. The Man is on a business trip and it’ll be just me and the kid Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, I plan to park in front of the TV for the hockey season opener. I’m ready for hockey! Especially now that baseball is starting to wind down even though my Rangers are up 2-1 in the playoffs. Go Rangers!

The weekend was good but expensive. The kiddo needed new shoes and some jeans for school. I also had to make the first payment for his camp trip which is in April. It was a weekend that completely tapped out my checkbook. At least it was for a good cause. 🙂

Hard to believe it’s October already and the first six weeks of school is up. I still need more hours in the day!

I wish you all could be inside my head. The conversation is sparkling.
