Recipe Time: Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1 graham cracker or chocolate flavored pie crust (9 inch)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs; mix until blended. Stir in 1/2 cup of the chips.
Pour into crust. Sprinkle with remaining chips.
Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
Peanut butter chocolate chip: Beat 1/3 cup peanut butter in with the cream cheese.
Banana chocolate chip: Beat 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana in with the cream cheese
