The frog on the porch

So this little guy decided to visit us on Saturday night. His buddy hung out in the driveway. But THIS guy sat on the porch and feasted on June bugs. Perfect because they dive bomb the porch light. Stupid June bugs. Anyway, he’s BIG! Of course he was gone Sunday morning.

I finally got first round edits for Sex, Lust & Martinis on Sunday. I have seven days to get them done and returned. The nice thing is, there’s not that much to knock out so I’m fairly confident I could get it done in about a day. All 171 pages of it.

We had a pretty low key weekend. We didn’t do much of anyting to be honest. I had RWA Saturday morning and then went straight home since I wasn’t feeling all that great. Very tired and run down. We hung out at the house before running some errands. Then we hung at and watched Auntie Mame with Rosaline Russel on Netflix via the computer. Man even liked it.

Sunday night, we grilled bone-in ribeye steaks. I oven baked a couple of potatoes and made sauteed mushrooms. To say it was good would be a gross understatement. It was by far one of our best summer meals. We were both STUFFED afterward. And then we sat down and watched Confessions of a Shopaholic.

It’s been awfully rainy and the humid lately. We’ve stayed out of the 100s but the humidity is killer.

Time to get the work week started, I guess!

I wish you all could be inside my head. The conversation is sparkling.
