I’m through chapter 9 on Phoenix, so I’m making good progress. I also realized I need to add two more scenes. After all, what’s a gladiator book without at least one chariot race? This is going to be fun. ๐
Something about the section I just read over doesn’t feel right, but I can’t really put my finger on it yet. I’m going to have to think about it. Sometimes, when I do, it comes to me and I know how to fix the problem. So I’m going to continue editing and planning out the new scenes I want to write and go from there.
Last night was open house at the school. The kiddo let us all around and showed us everything – except for the music room and the library. He didn’t want us to go in there. Not sure what was up with that. He was, however, very interested in showing us the computer lab and the PowerPoint presentation he made. Yeah, that’s right. My second grade is using PowerPoint. Crazy. Next they’ll be blogging.
Soccer practice got moved to tonight due to a scheduling conflict at the normal practice field. It’s supposed to start raining today, though, so it may get rained out. So much for Spring. It’s not getting out of the 50s this week and it’s supposed to rain a lot. Oh well. The yard needs it so – bring it on.
I’m still trying to catch up with this springing forward nonsense. I hate it. Oh – and – I just remembered I need to get a card in the mail today. And dangit…it’s going to be late. Boo.
Hope everyone has a splendid Tuesday.
Maybe THAT’S what’s screwing everything up. Falling Back is much better! ๐
My kids do powerpoint presentations, as well. I just look at them, and shake my head. I’ve never used powerpoint. You know it’s time to brush up on your computer skills when your kids are more adept than you are!
Awesome work on PHOENIX!
I just took a nap, trying to catch up on hour I lost. I’m doing revisions today, but I need to make lists of my characters quirks before going ahead with them.
