So glad this week is over. I’m ready for some R&R tonight.
Here’s a funny: one year after submission to TOR, I finally got a rejection letter in the mail yesterday. LOL Yeah, like I didn’t know it was going to be rejected. I know it sucks. I’m working on it. 😉
It’s a slow, painful process and sometimes when I read the pages I wonder why I’m even bothering. I keep thinking, “No, I’m making it better.” Then I continue to read and wonder if I really AM making it better. Ah well. I’ll just keep plugging away. I have two weeks to finish the edits and get it out into the hands of my readers.
Other than working and revising, not much else is going on. I think Man and I are going to try and tackle some home improvement projects. Mostly because we have to. The sink in the master bathroom is busted and it’s in desperate need of replacement. That’s what happens when ya buy an older house. Things break and you have to fix them. One day we’re really going to be brave and tackle a tiling job. Yeah. We’ll see how that goes. 🙂
Anyway – hope everyone has a lovely weekend. It’s still hot here. In the 90s with humidity. Blech.
