Back to work…for real this time

I’m back at work today. It’s been a really long weekend.

The kiddo is doing fine after his teeth extractions. He bounces back fast. I guess because he’s so young. He was eating regularly but we still have the no straw/no carbonated drink rule in effect.

Since I was home yesterday, I worked on the book trailer for my new release. I really need to get a newsletter out, too, but I always think about when it’s too late. I’m making a mental note to get that done this week. I also have contest entries to judge by Saturday. Ack. I need to get on that.

I don’t have much else to say other than we seem to keep getting rain. Nearly every day. We got this nifty rain gauge/thermometer for the backyard and we got 1/2 inch yesterday. This is unusual for this time of year. We’re usually scorching hot with no rain in sight.

I hope to get some words in today. Kiddo is at his dad’s tonight and the Man has to work. What will I do with all that silence?
