This came up one day because he was curious about the cat box and what it was for. So I explained to him the cat went potty in the box and the “buried” his poop. Which was probably not the wisest thing to tell a 4 year old. :hehe:

Been meaning to blog about this too. The other night I had the strangest dream. I was in a canoe that had these magical capabilities – I could time-travel on it and it took me to a place where I kept speaking and hearing French (of which I cannot do). Because I’m curious about dream interpretation, I looked up what it could mean. So I looked up “canoe” and “French”.

Here’s what I got.

canoe: To see a canoe in your dream, represents serenity, simplicity, and independence. It is also a reflection of your emotional balance. You are moving ahead via your own power and determination.
French: If you do no speak French and you hear French in your dream, signifies a sensual and romantic part of yourself. It is often referred to as the language of love. I’ve completed my first round of edits for the short story I sold to Inara Press. Contract is in the mail and it will be released in two weeks! Cover art and blurb forms are done, too.

I’ve been wanting a featherbed to top my mattress for the last few weeks. They are super expensive – the really nice ones, anyway. And I want real down. Not fiberfill. So I was browsing Penney’s website and discovered they had them on sale. And since I had a $15 coupon for my birthday from them, I hit the road to go to the store. They had the same deal at the store. It was originally $119. At the register, it rang up $79 (surprised) and then I got $15 off and THEN since I used my store card, I got an additional 15 percent off. I got the thing for $59! I was so happy, I went right home, stripped the bed and put it on. It’s like laying on a cloud. SOOOOOO super comfy. I love it. I did not want to get out bed this morning.

And yesterday I did something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. I worked out. OMG I feel so good right now. A little sore, but after the workout, I felt wonderful. So tomorrow morning, I’m setting my alarm and getting up early and working out again. I want to do this M-W-F and just tone everything up. I want a super flat stomach. I’ve already dropped a dress size, but if I can tone up and shape up, that will make me very happy.

Plus my mom and my sister want me to go on a cruise with them next year. My mom wants me to room with her and if I’m going to do this, then I need to be in top shape so I can look as hot as possible.

Actually, I really want to do this just for me. No one but me.

Okay, that’s enough babbling for the day. It’s hard to get back to work after a long weekend. Especially a relaxing one. Hope everyone here in the States had a smashing Memorial Day.
