Quote du Jour:
Do any of you have a completely unremarkable friend or maybe a houseplant I could go to dinner with on Saturday night?
–Miranda, Sex and the City
I miss that show terribly. All the more reason to buy it on DVD!
Anyway.. yesterday was a great day for my little boy. The kids at school sang to him and he got to have his cupcakes (he said, “All the boys ate them, Mom†haha) and he said he got a SuperSticker! We went to McDonald’s (his choice) for dinner and they screwed up the order in a good way. We got extra large fries we didn’t order and a double quarter pounder with cheese instead of the quarter pounder I ordered. So, hooray for that! Then he played and played, at all of his nuggets, and then at about 8:00 last night he said, “Dad, I’m starving. I need something to eat.†HA! Funny he asks his dad because he knows mom doesn’t cook.
:hehe:
All in all, sounds like my baby boy had a good birthday.
And this from a coworker. This person asked “Did you get your haircut?†Yes. “Oh, it’s layered and frames your face.†Yes, it does. Usually the next statement from people is “it looks nice†or “I like it†or something like that. Instead, from this person, I get, “My daughter got her hair cut like that and she hated it.â€
Thanks for that. I’ll log that away.
Hm.. writing progress. Not sure what to report here now that the serials are all done. I did get some edits done on the new chapter 1 of the fantasy romance and I’ve written a new chapter 2 and started chapter 3. I hope to get 2 done today and 3 drafted. That’s the plan anyway.
Well, off for coffee. Time to get the day started. I have Friday off and I’m very much looking forward to it.
And, Colin, this is for you: :coffee:
😉
LOL!!
Ah, I love that wee guy! :coffee:
I’m actually just watching Sex And The City via DVDs and loving it!
