I think I need a mental health day instead of a sick day.
Anyway… Yesterday, there was a smell in the office. There’s some work being done on the floor above us and I guess whatever they were doing was making it stink. By the time I got home, I had a raging headache. I hope today is not more of the same.
Picked up the kiddo and I went to Chick Fil A because I couldn’t bear the thought of cooking. I got him settled into his homework and then did yoga for 45 minutes. It helped the head some, but still hurt.
Finally got the kid in bed and worked on the contest for about two hours. But the head was hurting so bad and my eyes started to hurt. I think I was on my way to a migraine. At that point, it’s better to just shut everything down and get to bed. So that’s what I did.
I feel somewhat better this morning. The yoga did me good.
I hope to get back to some writing very soon. The contest entries will be going out to the judges no later than Friday. I hope. That’s the goal anyway.
Wow–I think yesterday was just a crappy day all around! Hope today is better!
I hope today is better. He’s Not That Into You is coming out soon. Maybe this weekend. I want to see that. My husband doesn’t. 🙁
