I’ve been a bad blogger lately, haven’t I? I’ve been ignoring the place for the last few days. I’ve been busy, clearly. 🙂 The holidays do that.
The husband and I headed out of town on Saturday for the country. We spent the weekend at a lovely B&B in Glen Rose. No TV, no computer, no technology (well, except for our iPhones). Just peace and quiet. We even managed to catch the tail end of the Glen Rose Christmas parade on the way to dinner. It was fun to watch (but very cold outside). We had dinner at this lovely place called Riverhouse Grill.
I snapped this picture on the way out the gate Sunday morning. I just love the cute little gnome guarding the entrance. So cute!
I’m trying to get all my Christmas shopping done. I still have a few things to buy before I finished. I do have all the stocking stuffers bought for the guys. I haven’t started wrapping anything else but hopefully I can get that started next week. hard to believe there are only two more shopping weekends left before Christmas. And I have so much to do!
This weekend I have a Christmas party and a wedding shower to go to. I have the gift bought for the wedding shower but now I need to figure out how to wrap it. 🙂
Not to mention all the writing I need to be doing. I have a book to finish by the end of the year! Hopefully I can get it done since I’m taking some vacation time around Christmas. I’m looking forward to those eleven days off. 🙂
