Whew. Had a busy day today. Got a proposal out and of course when you’re on deadline, the darn printer decided to stop working. Persnickety thing.
Still reading my friend’s manuscript. MAN, is it ever good. I think I’m jealous! 🙂 Her writing is good, the story is interesting, and the characters are fascinating. Big kudos to TD on her paranormal!
Got Issue 89 for Ransom & Fortune in to the editor today. Thank goodness. I need to get issue 102 written and in to the editor on Scars tomorrow. Friday and Saturday will be busy and I doubt I’ll get any writing done.
Lost was a great episode tonight! OOooo.. I can’t wait until next week.
Anthony was booted off of American Idol. Not surprising. I figured it’d be either him or Vonzell. I’m thinking Bo (YUM) has this thing all wrapped up. If he doesn’t win, it’ll be a crime.
For the first time in 3 1/2 seasons, I ditched Alias. I decided I just didn’t care. Sad. Used to be a great show, but they botched it with Season 3. Losers.
And why are mango pits flat? Why can’t they be round like peach pits? I’m trying to save myself some time by pureeing the mangos tonight so I can just start baking tomorrow. I made a huge mess. They were drippy and slippery and gushy. I sealed the puree up in an airtight bag and put it in the fridge. I have some back-up mangos in case something weird happens to the already-pureed-ones. Here’s hoping all goes well with them.
In class all day tomorrow (*snore*) and I hope to have email access. If not, I think I shall go mad.
