So my cat is funny. I was MIA a lost this past weekend and on Sunday morning, he left me a present on the carpet. Yeah. I guess that was my punishment for being gone most of the weekend and not giving him proper attention. Now that I’ve been home like normal, he’s been following me around. He hangs out inthe office with me when I’m typing away on things.
He’s been properly worshipped the last few days and all is well. 🙂 Here he is, surveying the backyard and making sure all the birds are behaving.
I had a lot of errands to run yesterday after work. I had super secret birthday shopping to do because Thursday is Man’s birthday. So I got all that done. Got home, changed clothes, and went to the post office to get the contest winners things mailed out. All except the international ones went out. I’m doing those today. I had 13 envelopes to mail and, needless to say, it took me awhile at the automated postage machine. But it was totally worth it becuase I didn’t have to talk to another human being. Until the postman came out and asked how many more I had. I told him two. He said he’d wait. I thought that was totally cool. Except I forgot to put my return address on there, so I quickly scrawled them in the upper lefthand corner. hehe
After I got done there, I went to the store and picked up provisions for making peach cobbler. Then it was time to swing by the karate place to see about getting the kid signed up for summer. I’m going to take him to a class to see if he’s even interested and then we’ll take it from there.
Finally got home, made a quick dinner… watched LOST. Okay, WOW, that show was good and I’m so sad there is only one episode left. I will be sitting on the couch at 6 pm watching it and NO ONE better get in my way. 😉
Making some revisions on the gladiator book, getting it ready for yet another submission. Trying to get it finished up by June 1 and off. Also reading some pages of a friend’s work and I really like it. It’s different than anything I’ve read and that’s a really good thing. 🙂
Busy day today. We’re supposed to have thunderstorms later. My least favorite thing this time of year.
