Man. Feeling like crap SUCKS.
Okay so, on Saturday the baby boy had his soccer game. They won – beat the girls by 6-2. And then that afternoon I got to sit at home all day and wait for FedEx to show up. GRR. They didn’t arrive until 8 pm. How convinient. BUT. I did get my Christmas stuff taken care of. I made photo books for some folks for Christmas and they should be arriving in te next few days. I’m so excited! I think they came out good.
On Sunday, I got up early – way too early. At 7 am early. I started cleaning house. I did three loads of laundry, cleaned the toilets and vacuumed, all before church. Went to church, came home, and then cleaned house some more. Mowed the front and back yard. Then I had to run errands to Wal-Mart and Lowe’s to get some more Christmas stuff and some stuff for work.
We’re having this big raffle drawing at the annual awards banquet and I get to put together one of the prizes. So I bought all the stuff on Sunday.
I had cooked a pot roast all day long in the slow cooker and it was so yummy for dinner on Sunday. THOSE are the best dinners ever. One pot, no mess, no fuss.
By the time I ate dinner and finished putting the laundry away (I even changed the sheets and washed them all), I was exhausted. I think I fell asleep on the couch about 7:30 pm. Plus it didn’t help I wasn’t feeling all that hot.
Monday came and I went to the hockey game that night. Had a great time, even though they lost. Got home to over 40 emails and quickly answers some – and sent some too.
I’m going to a haunted house tonight (against my better judgement) with some friends – but hey – it’s a free ticket and I figure what the heck. Should be fun.
Wednesday I’m taking the little man Trick Or Treating – I can’t wait! He’s going to be Batman. Again. I’m so totally looking foward to doing that again this year. I’m excited about it. Isn’t that silly? I can’t wait to pass out candy too. haha
And that’s pretty much my life. Busy busy with life stuff and not much writing.
But I’m still committing myself to NaNo. Go me. Go!
Feel better!
Isn’t it funny that we both made pot roast this weekend? Great minds, and all that!
Hope you feel better—you sound BUSY!!
