Dark Night of the Soul Is Here
It’s release day.
Dark Night of the Soul is officially out in the world, and I can hardly believe I get to say that.
Anna and Kincade are back.
The Dream Walker world is opening again.
And the Brotherhood is about to learn what happens when it tries to claim a woman who was never made to kneel.
I have waited a long time to share this book with you. Not just because it continues a series I love, but because, for a while, I honestly thought this world was finished.
Not forgotten. Not unloved. Just… quiet.
I thought Anna and Kincade had survived their war, earned their ending, and stepped into whatever peace they could find after everything they endured.
And then they walked back into my head like they had never left.
Which is extremely on-brand for them.
Kincade did not ask permission. Anna definitely had opinions. And suddenly I knew the story wasn’t over.
The war had not ended.
It had only learned how to wait.
Welcome Back to the Dream Walker World
Dark Night of the Soul begins the new War of the Brotherhood trilogy, set in the Dream Walker universe.
This book returns to Anna Walker and Kincade after the original series and asks one of my favorite questions:
What happens after survival?
What happens after the battle that should have broken you?
What happens after the evil you defeated begins to move again in the shadows?
What happens when you finally begin to build something soft, something real, something that looks like a life—and the enemy realizes that peace is the thing it can threaten?
That is the heart of this book.
Anna and Kincade are not beginning from a place of distance. I didn’t want to reset them emotionally. They have already fought, bled, chosen, and survived together.
Their love is not new. It is lived in. It has history. Ritual. Private language. Shared silence. Heat. Trust. Scars.
And now that love is under pressure again.
Because the Brotherhood is no longer merely watching Anna.
They are moving to claim her.
The Brotherhood Is Back
In Dark Night of the Soul, the danger shifts. This is not just a bigger monster or a louder battle. This threat is intimate.
Invasive. Psychological. The Brotherhood studies patterns. Watches windows. Tests defenses. Looks for the soft points in a home, a family, a love story.
They don’t simply want power. They want control. They want obedience. They want Anna.
And unfortunately for them, Anna Walker is not a woman who responds well to being managed, manipulated, or claimed. She has fought too hard for agency. For truth. For the right to stand in her own life and say, No. This belongs to me. Her name. Her body. Her choices. Her power. Her future.
And Kincade? Kincade is the immortal warrior who has spent centuries surviving war, carrying grief, and becoming the weapon other people needed him to be.
But Anna gave him something far more terrifying than duty.
She gave him a home. A future. A life he can finally imagine wanting. And now the Brotherhood is coming for it. Which is a terrible idea. For them.

Obviously.
Why This Book Matters to Me
This book means so much to me because it brought me back to a world I thought I might have to let go.
The Dream Walker series has always held a special place in my heart. Anna and Kincade were never simply characters I moved around on a page. They were the doorway into a world full of darkness, loyalty, relics, prophecy, danger, and impossible love.
Returning to them felt like coming home.
But not a peaceful little cottage home.
More like Walker Manor with upgraded security, weapons in strategic locations, supernatural threats at the perimeter, and Gremlin probably doing something questionable with surveillance technology.
So, you know.
Home.
Dark Night of the Soul let me explore what happens when love has already been chosen. Not the beginning of love. The keeping of it. The cost of it. The courage of staying. The tenderness of two people who know exactly how much can be taken and choose each other anyway.
That is one of the most romantic things I can imagine.
