Drive Really Fast

Today, I have the Darth Vader voice going on, thanks to my allergies. I have to say, it’s very sexy (NOT).

Have you ever had one of those days where you just want to drive fast? I normally drive five miles over the speed limit, but today, I wanted to speed. Meaning, I wanted to go 10-20 miles over the speed limit. It doesn’t help I drive a stick now and the car feels very zippy. It makes me feel like I’m in a sports car sometimes. It’s the spoiler on the back giving me that illusion.

Anyway, may I say I can’t stand bitches who do their make-up behind the wheel? It annoys me. What they can’t take 10 minutes out of their morning and do their make-up? Gaw. I was behind one such person this morning and she was completely oblivious to anyone and anything around her. Wandering out of her lane, looking in the rearview to put on her blush. 👿 I resisted the urge to beep my horn and then flip her off. Instead, I waited for an opportune moment to downshift into third, floor it, and then pass her dumbass.

I zipped into work listening to Damn Yankees at the top of their lungs. I gotta admit I miss my XM radio and my MP3 player in the car. Very soon I should be able to get that installed.

Back to this writing thing. Yeah…um…what about it? I haven’t done anything but write email messages and this blog. Gaw, I suck. I really want to finish MAGIC and I’m so close, too. Then I think I want to work on the dragon story, but don’t. I think I’m just in a funk lately. Can’t write. Don’t feel like doing anything but lying around on the couch and watching TV. I have a serious case of munchies too. My workout boxes need to get here soon so I can start working out and crush that urge to munch.

This weekend is our conference luncheon. Perhaps after I get that out of the way, I’ll feel more like writing again. I have two cheesecakes to bake for the Friday night meet and greet. I’ve decided on a chocolate chip one and a lemon one.
