The cat woke me up at 7 am on the dot this morning. Argh. He doesn’t understand about Saturdays I guess.
I think I baked about 12 dozen cookies today. No lie. It’s for the cookie swap I’m going to tomorrow. I made Peanut Butter and Forgotten Cookies.
I went grocery shopping this morning and spent too much money. Isn’t that always the way? I got a few little things to finishe up the holiday for some more homemade gifts. I also invested in a cookie scoop! This was the best $5 I ever spent. LOL
I also finally started wrapping my gifts. I’ve barely made a dent so far.
The weather here is weird. It was in the 60s today and supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow. The on Monday, we’re getting an arctic cold front and the temp is going to plunge. We may eve have some sleet. Ew. I hope not. I don’t drive on ice. Too many idiots on the road.
Since the weather is going to get super cold, and my heated blanket bit the dust, I knew I had to get another one before Monday. While I was shopping at Wal-Mart, I invested in yet another heated blanket. I hope this one lasts more than 2 years.
I’m discovering that grocery shopping at Wal-Mart is potentially dangerous. They have EVERYTHING and I tend to do one stop shop and spend more than my alloted budget for groceries. hehe Ah well. I suppose that’s okay since gas prices finally went down and I’m not as strapped as I used to be. It’s a relief, actually.
Anyway… off to veg in front of the TV.
Walmart is HIGHLY dangerous. Target is seriously LETHAL.
They prey on US, specifically, this time of year. (And all throughout the year, while we’re being honest!)
Oh well. At least you’re not alone.
I don’t usually grocery shop at WalMart, but Friday we were at a bookstore next to it, so went to WalMart. I noticed some of the prices were higher than my usual grocery store. Plus they didn’t have everything, and my husband had to pick a few things up at Piggly Wiggly.
